The Inside Sales Manager is a key member of the SeaKlear sales group and serves as a focal point of the division’s efforts to grow and support the SeaKlear user base, distributors of SeaKlear products, and an expanding base in the recreational water markets. The Inside Sales Manager is expected to lead and motivate the inside sales team to achieve key business goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assist and support the SeaKlear sales efforts by leading a team of Dealer Sales Representatives in their efforts to support the outside sales team and overall sales goals.
Key responsibilities include developing the processes, policies and programs required to
maximize sales call volume and revenue expected of the inside sales team.
· Develop, implement and manage the DSR metrics to ensure maximum productivity.
· Coordinate the follow up and dissemination of incoming leads from distributors, partner companies and other sources.
· Review and coordinate the qualification of leads received from trade advertising, direct mail and online programs
· Motivate, coach and mentor Inside Sales Team to drive performance
· Assist DSR’s in resolving customer issues and closing deals - creative solutions, new approaches, proven techniques, etc.
· Field and direct incoming phone and internet inquiries for SeaKlear products and applications.
· Make outgoing calls to dealers, service providers and distributors to support consistent usage of SeaKlear products.
· Work closely with Business Director to plan, organize and execute new programs. Keep current on marketplace issues and communicate information appropriately.
· Develop and maintain productive relationships with internal and external contacts.Maintain an accurate customer database and prospect databases. Primary database owner for User/Distributor/Channel Partner information.
· Provide performance feedback the DSR’s, including annual performance reviews and goal setting, as well as ongoing feedback.
· Attend and participate in sales and other meetings, including trade shows.
· Maintain effective relationships with Regional and Territory Sales Managers, accounting, logistics and other company departments.
· Analyze and identify field feedback and trends to help guide actions, programs and improve User/Distributor market penetration and support quality.
· Recommendation of tools necessary to support the sales team, i.e. promotional tools, selling programs, brochures, literature, technical materials, etc.
· Support activities of Business Director and other key management personnel.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of related technical sales experience, preferably in pool or spa sales.
- Previous phone sales experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2-5 years of supervisory experience, including a proven track record of success in managing and leading an inside sales team.

- Experience with CRM, with ability to lead efforts in utilizing GoldMine database system.

- Proven track record in meeting sales objectives.
- Experience with social networking tools and techniques, i.e., Facebook & Twitter to drive consumer awareness and other marketing initiatives.
